Senior Quality Engineer

Job Summary

To support the scaling of mobile applications, the full-time Senior Quality Engineer will own the mobile test strategy, build reliable E2E automation, and integrate AI into the software development lifecycle while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve a pragmatic test pyramid for React Native, focusing on coverage, reliability, and speed trade-offs
• Create and maintain mobile E2E suites in Maestro, integrating them into CI for fast, trustworthy feedback
• Partner with product and engineering teams to prevent defects by engaging early in the development process and addressing ambiguous criteria

Required qualifications

• 6+ years in quality engineering or test automation with a focus on maintaining stable automated suites
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript for building tooling and debugging applications
• Experience with Appium, device farms, or emulator/simulator orchestration at scale
• Hands-on experience with Maestro or Detox for mobile E2E automation
• Familiarity with shaping CI/CD pipelines for test reliability, including flakiness reduction and parallelization
