Senior Quality Engineering Consultant

Job Summary

Leading the design and implementation of quality engineering solutions, the full-time Senior Quality Engineering Consultant will work remotely to ensure secure, reliable, and maintainable systems while mentoring engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the design and implementation of services and components, ensuring alignment with architectural goals for security, performance, and reliability
• Guide technical execution and mentor engineers through design and code reviews, promoting best practices and clear communication
• Participate in discovery and refinement processes, translating requirements into actionable user stories and maintaining alignment with business objectives

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in application development, cloud platform engineering, DevOps, or data and analytics
• Proven experience in leading design and implementation efforts for services and components, including mentoring other engineers
• Solid experience with at least one major public cloud platform, preferably Azure
• Hands-on skills in relevant languages, frameworks, and patterns applicable to quality engineering
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams, including backlog refinement and iteration planning
