Senior Quantitative Analyst
Job Summary
Hands-on and detail-oriented, the Senior Quantitative Analyst will work remotely in Spain on a 12-month contract, focusing on analytics and reporting to support the Portfolio Development team, specifically in SKU productivity and capital allocation across a growing portfolio of over 20,000 SKUs.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with the CEO and Product Strategy stakeholders to build analysis and reporting that addresses key strategic questions
- Utilize statistical methods to identify product attributes that drive productivity and provide data-driven guidance on portfolio adjustments
- Identify and correct data inconsistencies in Snowflake, ensuring accurate reporting and improving source data quality
Required qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in data science, analytics, or statistics within SKU-driven businesses
- Strong foundation in statistics or operations research, including regression and multivariate analysis
- Proficiency in SQL and Python with hands-on experience in Snowflake
- Demonstrated ability to present findings to senior stakeholders and executives
- Experience applying AI/ML in a business context for task automation
