Senior Quantitative Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Quantitative Data Engineer to join their Data Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable data pipelines for integrating and standardizing alternative/financial data
• Collaborate with Quant Research, Data Infrastructure, Product, and Revenue teams to align data pipelines and requirements
• Develop data validation and monitoring systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with governance best practices

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Quantitative Data Engineer in a financial or technology firm
• Proven experience in building and maintaining large-scale ETL pipelines using Python and distributed data technologies
• Familiarity with financial, alternative, or time-series data used in quantitative investment workflows
• Strong understanding of data modeling, schema design, and cloud-based data infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• Experience with data delivery systems such as APIs or data sharing platforms
