Job Summary
To support consumer credit risk initiatives, the full-time Senior Quantitative Risk Analyst will perform advanced data analysis on deposit overdrafts, forecast charge-off losses, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in establishing and monitoring data with a risk management focus aligned with business strategy
- Perform data manipulation and analysis using SQL, SAS, and Microsoft Excel, presenting findings to Credit Risk Management
- Track portfolio performance, identify deviations from forecasts, and provide guidance to lower-level analysts on predictive modeling
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Analysis, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services, with credit analysis experience preferred
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Office
- Experience with SAS, SAS Enterprise Miner, and other statistical software packages
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts and analyze data across large databases
