Senior RACF Migration Specialist
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior RACF Migration Specialist will analyze and develop migration strategies for transitioning mainframe security from TSS/ACF2 to RACF, conduct security assessments, and lead complex migration projects while ensuring compliance and minimal downtime.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze existing mainframe security environments and develop comprehensive migration strategies
- Lead and execute migrations from TSS or ACF2 to RACF, ensuring minimal disruption to production environments
- Collaborate with technical teams to configure and integrate RACF within IBM z/OS environments
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in IBM z/OS mainframe security with significant hands-on RACF experience
- Demonstrated experience leading migrations from CA Top Secret (TSS) and/or CA ACF2 to IBM RACF
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred
- Expert-level knowledge of IBM RACF and z/OS security
- Experience using zSecure and other IBM RACF tools for migration activities
