Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented Senior Radar Systems Engineer for a full-time position focused on developing, implementing, and testing signal processing algorithms for synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imagery, with responsibilities including coding for the Airborne Moving Target Indicator (AMTI) effort and collaborating on various projects in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to advanced processing techniques using commercial SAR imagery to address customer challenges
- Design tailored SAR collection parameters for AMTI and evaluate satellite constellations for specific use cases
- Develop proof-of-concept and production-quality SAR algorithms while participating in agile software development processes
Required qualifications
- M.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline
- 7-10 years of experience in radar systems engineering or related fields
- Proficiency in Python and version control software, preferably Git
- Prior experience with remote sensing and signal processing algorithms, particularly SAR
- Comprehensive understanding of SAR imaging modes and focusing algorithms
