Senior RCM Representative

Job Summary

Providing revenue cycle services remotely, the full-time Senior RCM Representative will gather patient information, assist with complex claim issues, and ensure financial clearance while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Gathers and updates patient information, determines eligibility, and identifies payment sources through various communication methods
• Utilizes computer programs to input, verify, and modify patient data while generating reports as needed
• Collaborates with internal teams and external agencies to assist patients with billing and payment inquiries, enhancing cash flow

Required qualifications

• 2 years of clerical experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, including billing, patient accounting, or admissions
• Bilingual preferred, required for some positions
• An approved equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
• Knowledge of patient billing claims processes and applicable federal and state regulations
• Experience with electronic health record systems or similar software programs
