Senior R&D Analyst - Underwriting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a senior or lead research and development analyst in underwriting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop models and tools to mitigate risk for the property business
• Conduct targeted analysis and build predictive models to identify underpriced risks
• Deploy process enhancements that impact underwriting decisions for new business quotes and policy renewals

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and six years of relevant experience in statistical/quantitative modeling in property & casualty insurance; or
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field and three years of analytical experience; or
• Master's degree in a quantitative field and three years of analytical experience; or
• PhD in a quantitative field of study
