Job Summary

Leading advanced research and blue-sky innovation in energy transmission technologies, the full-time remote Senior R&D Manager will drive exploratory R&D programs, identify disruptive concepts, and develop long-term technology roadmaps within a multinational organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead advanced and exploratory R&D programs focused on future energy transmission technologies
• Drive blue-sky thinking beyond incremental product development, identifying disruptive concepts and emerging trends
• Translate early-stage research into strategic technology options, platforms, and intellectual property

Required Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PhD or Master's) in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Energy Engineering, or a related field
• Significant experience in R&D or advanced research within energy transmission or related industries
• Strong technical credibility in high-voltage systems, power electronics, or grid technologies
• Proven experience leading exploratory or breakthrough research initiatives
• Ability to operate effectively in complex, global, matrix organizations
