Senior React Native Engineer

Job Summary

Taking ownership of the mobile experience for teams in defense and critical infrastructure, the full-time Senior React Native Engineer will architect and evolve the React Native application, ensuring reliable performance in environments with limited connectivity while collaborating closely with backend teams.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and evolve the React Native application for deployment in unreliable connectivity environments
• Define app handling of WebSocket reliability and data synchronization across degraded network conditions
• Drive performance improvements and own the testing strategy for mobile platform-specific challenges

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including HTTP and WebSockets
• Experience with offline-first design, local persistence, and sync strategies
• Familiarity with native iOS and/or Android development
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for government security clearance may be required
