Senior React Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior React Software Engineer will architect and build modern React front ends, create reusable component systems, and manage client-side state and data flows to deliver high-quality web applications for internal and external clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain responsive web applications using React and TypeScript
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product and UX requirements into polished web experiences
• Participate in peer code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to project standards

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of professional front-end development experience using React and JavaScript or TypeScript
• Preferred undergraduate or graduate technical degree in a related field such as Computer Science or Engineering
• Depth in experience with React, TypeScript, semantic HTML, and modern CSS
• Experience designing reusable component libraries and managing complex client-side state
• Sound understanding of web accessibility, responsive design, and front-end performance
