Senior Real Estate Manager

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Senior Real Estate Manager, this full-time position will identify and transact property purchase and ground lease opportunities for developing EV charging hubs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute a large-site real estate strategy.

Key responsibilities:

• Implement the next phase of EVgo's real estate strategy for ground leases and property acquisition
• Source land lease and acquisition opportunities for EV charging hubs nationwide
• Negotiate terms with sellers and landlords, coordinating internal efforts for the large site acquisition process

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 8 years with a Master's degree, or a PhD with 5 years experience
• 12+ years of commercial real estate experience, specifically in property purchasing and ground leasing
• Proven experience in negotiating property purchase and ground lease deals
• Strong background in collaborating with external partners such as real estate brokers and development partners
• Familiarity with zoning, entitlement, planning, and building codes is a plus
