Senior Recovery Agent

Job Summary

Managing a complex portfolio of past-due commercial accounts, the full-time Senior Recovery Agent will utilize advanced financial negotiation tactics to secure payments, minimize credit risk, and maintain customer relationships while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage communication with medium to high-risk commercial customers to secure payments and resolve delinquent balances
• Evaluate account details and historical data to diagnose delinquency causes and determine effective collection strategies
• Document collection activities and collaborate with internal teams to resolve disputes and enhance payment processes

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience in B2B or commercial collections
• Knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and its application in risk-based decision-making
• Intermediate computer software literacy and ability to learn new platforms
• Strong analytical and conflict-resolution skills in fast-paced environments
• Must successfully pass a background investigation
