Senior Red Hat Administrator
Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Red Hat Administrator, the remote full-time position will manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Rocket UniVerse databases, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of a mission-critical ERP platform while overseeing SQL replication for enterprise reporting and analytics.
Key responsibilities
- Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning
- Manage Rocket UniVerse database instances, diagnosing issues and optimizing performance for the Epicor Eclipse ERP
- Oversee the SQL replication process, ensuring timely and accurate data flow into the data warehouse for reporting
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of systems administration experience, including senior-level ownership of production environments
- Hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Rocket UniVerse or similar MultiValue databases
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and data replication/ETL concepts
- Proficiency in Bash scripting and automation tools such as Ansible
