Senior Regulatory Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Regulatory Accountant to support U.S. regulatory accounting initiatives and complex financial reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support ongoing accounting, reporting, and regulatory initiatives in partnership with the U.S. Regulatory Accounting team
• Contribute to the creation and review of Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) for accounting system enhancements
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and perform complex account reconciliations to ensure regulatory and financial accuracy

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive accounting experience in financial services, banking, or capital markets
• Experience developing and implementing FP&A and financial reporting processes in complex organizations
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting and financial reporting frameworks
• Experience supporting financial systems implementations and enhancements
• Ability to analyze large data sets and perform advanced Excel-based reconciliations and validations
