Job Summary

To support the Colorado Energy Office's initiatives, the full-time Senior Regulatory Analyst will manage regulatory strategies and participate in proceedings at the Colorado Public Utilities Commission, focusing on implementing energy plans to achieve significant emissions reductions while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Track and lead participation in ongoing PUC proceedings, providing analysis and recommendations to leadership
  • Conduct stakeholder engagement and research related to PUC proceedings, building coalitions and participating in settlement discussions
  • Develop regulatory strategy and documentation, including testimony and internal memos, under the guidance of team leadership
Required qualifications
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in public utilities regulation or transportation electrification
  • Knowledge of the utility sector and experience writing testimony for PUC proceedings
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • High level of initiative and ability to work independently and collaboratively
