Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Reimbursement Analyst to join their team remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze third-party denial trends and reimbursement issues to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions
- Lead and support appeals initiatives, collaborating with internal and external teams to improve success rates
- Conduct detailed analyses of data related to revenue cycle projects and provide updates on denial and appeal trends
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 7 years' experience in a healthcare revenue cycle environment, or an Associate degree with 9 years, or a HS diploma/GED with 11 years
- 5 or more years of experience with payor contracts, medical terminology, and appeals processes
- 3 or more years of experience with data analysis platforms such as SAS or Crystal Reports
- 5 or more years of experience with Microsoft Excel
