Job Summary
To support the reimbursement department, the full-time Senior Reimbursement Analyst will collect and analyze data for Medicare and Medicaid cost reports, prepare supporting documentation, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations in a 100% remote work-from-home position.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and analyze data to prepare Medicare cost reports, including Worksheet S-10 and Medicaid DSH eligibility
- Prepare financial analyses for reimbursement factors and compliance reports, ensuring accuracy in audit adjustments
- Assist in the annual net revenue budget process and provide detailed analysis of regulatory changes impacting reimbursement
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3-5 years of job-related experience, specifically in hospital reimbursement and Medicare/Medicaid cost reports
- Current working knowledge of financial statement processes and strong financial skills
- Experience with Medicare medical education reimbursement (IME/DGME) is preferred
- Familiarity with Medicare provider enrollment systems (PECOS) is preferred
