Senior Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Reimbursement Specialist to provide high-quality customer service and support in the reimbursement process for patients and medical providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct benefit investigations, verify insurance benefits, and manage prior authorizations
• Maintain accurate data in client databases and monitor case statuses
• Coordinate product orders and therapy initiation with pharmacies and patients

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
• 4 - 6 years of experience in insurance, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries
• Computer proficiency in MS Office applications; database experience preferred
• Knowledge of third-party billing, coding, and medical terminology preferred
• Experience in customer service and/or reimbursement is a plus
