Senior Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

Providing high-quality customer service, the full-time Senior Reimbursement Specialist will conduct benefit investigations, verify insurance benefits, and facilitate patient access to client products while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct benefit investigations and verify insurance benefits for patients and physicians, ensuring timely prior authorizations and recertifications
• Accurately maintain client database records and monitor outstanding items on client case files to ensure completeness
• Participate in conference calls with Client Sales Representatives and medical offices regarding case statuses and coordinate product orders and therapy initiation

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
• 4 - 6 years of experience in insurance, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries, with a focus on customer service and reimbursement
• Proficiency in MS Office applications; database experience is a plus
• Knowledge of third-party billing, coding, medical terminology, and prior authorizations preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively
