Senior Renewable Energy Manager

Job Summary

Leading the development of utility-scale renewable energy projects, the full-time Senior Renewable Energy Manager will manage project development teams, oversee the de-risking process, and negotiate commercial agreements, all while working remotely with a preference for candidates in the East Coast/Southeast region.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead greenfield utility-scale renewable development projects through strategic planning and project de-risking
• Oversee the full development lifecycle from site origination to project NTP, ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory requirements
• Act as the primary negotiator for power purchase agreements, interconnection agreements, and other related contracts

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy, including solar PV, wind energy, and energy storage
• Demonstrated team management and project management leadership experience
• Proven track record of successfully taking renewable energy projects from site origination to NTP/COD
• Experience with various agreement types related to project development, including site leases and interconnection agreements
• Strong understanding of project siting, permitting, and due diligence processes for utility-scale renewable projects
