Senior Renewable Project Leader

Job Summary

Leading the development of utility-scale renewable energy projects, the full-time Senior Renewable Project Leader will manage project development teams remotely, overseeing the full lifecycle from site origination to project financing while ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead greenfield utility-scale renewable development projects, creating de-risking strategies
• Oversee the progression of development assets from site origination through permitting and interconnection to NTP
• Negotiate commercial agreements, including PPAs and interconnection contracts, while managing project financing

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy, including wind, solar PV, and energy storage
• Proven team management and project management leadership experience
• Track record of developing renewable project strategies and successfully bringing projects to NTP/COD
• Experience with site lease agreements, permitting, and interconnection agreements
• Hands-on experience with real estate transactions and contracts related to renewable projects
