Senior Reporter

Job Summary

Senior Reporter is a full-time remote position focused on covering the federal workforce, agency leadership, and Congress, involving daily news reporting, feature writing, and event coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Break news and produce daily reporting on federal agencies, Congress, and the White House
• Write longer stories, features, and interviews, covering major policy developments
• Develop original reporting through strong sourcing and represent the organization at events

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of journalism or related experience covering government or policy
• Strong reporting and writing skills with a record of accurate daily journalism
• Ability to explain complex issues in clear, direct language
• Experience working in a fast-moving newsroom
• Strong understanding of AP Style
