Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Reporter to lead US FDA and policy coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Own a beat covering FDA centers, rulemaking, advisory committees, and policy shifts, delivering exclusive stories and analysis
• Break news and provide timely, accurate updates and deeper analysis on regulatory developments
• Develop and maintain high-level sources and conduct interviews to enhance reporting insights

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of journalism experience, particularly in business, policy, or healthcare
• Strong familiarity with US FDA processes and the legislative/policy environment
• Experience in source building and conducting interviews with senior regulators and industry leaders
• Proficiency in digital-first reporting and CMS workflows
• Experience using data and public filings to support reporting, with basic charting skills preferred
