Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Reporting Analyst will prepare and analyze reports for the Department of Ophthalmology, focusing on billing data and ad hoc reporting while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Leads the development and implementation of data reporting methodologies, generating comprehensive reports and visualizations to support clinical and research activities
- Collaborates with faculty and administrators to assess data needs and deliver customized reporting solutions while ensuring data consistency and security
- Provides trend analysis and statistical reporting to support strategic planning and operational decision-making, identifying issues related to survey data
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on translating complex data into actionable insights
- Experience mentoring lower-level staff on reporting tasks and data analysis techniques
