Senior Research Analyst

Job Summary

To support the Office of Institutional Effectiveness, the full-time Senior Research Analyst/Data Coordinator will manage software application development, data visualization, and reporting to enhance institutional research and strategic planning efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Oracle queries, SAS Enterprise Guide programs, and SQL programs while preparing automatic reporting for internal and external stakeholders
• Lead the transition of static reports into interactive data visualizations and dashboards using Power-BI, refining them based on user feedback
• Produce data and analysis for state and federal reporting requirements, as well as internal and ad-hoc reporting to support executive decision-making

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in programming, information systems, database applications, or statistical analysis
• Proficiency in statistical software (preferably SAS), SQL, and data visualization tools like Power-BI
• Experience with data extraction, analysis, and reporting in an educational setting
• Knowledge of research methodology and statistical techniques
• Ability to communicate data findings effectively through reports and presentations
