Senior Research Associate

Job Summary

Focused on generating impactful research, the full-time Senior Research Associate will design and execute studies on family-school partnerships, manage data analysis, and communicate findings to diverse audiences while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Execute research studies, from descriptive analyses to quasi-experimental designs, while managing timelines and deliverables
• Analyze and clean data from various sources, applying appropriate methods and tools such as R, Python, and SQL
• Translate research findings into clear presentations and reports for internal teams and district partners

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in social science, education, public policy, or related field with strong research methods training
• 5+ years of applied research experience focused on K-12 education in nonprofit or mission-driven settings
• Expertise in mixed methods design and data analysis, including experience with public education datasets
• Proficiency in R or Python, with working knowledge of SQL and self-service data tools
• Strong project management skills and the ability to communicate findings to diverse audiences
