Senior Research Associate - Qualitative

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Research Associate - Qualitative, the candidate will lead multi-site qualitative research projects, integrating qualitative and quantitative data while mentoring emerging researchers and producing scholarly outputs in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and lead qualitative data collection across multiple institutional sites, including interviews and case studies
• Develop and manage qualitative data systems and ensure compliance with IRB protocols and data transfer agreements
• Mentor and supervise research staff and graduate assistants, while presenting research findings to diverse audiences

Required qualifications

• PhD in education or a related social science field, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of experience leading qualitative research projects, including design, data collection, and analysis
• Advanced proficiency with qualitative data analysis software (e.g., NVivo, Dedoose) and working knowledge of Excel
• Strong publication record with peer-reviewed first-author work
• Experience leading multi-site research projects with diverse data types
