Job Summary

Driving exploratory research engineering, the full-time Senior Research Engineer will lead innovative AI and machine learning projects, create prototypes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead exploratory spikes and proof-of-concept projects to test high-impact ideas
• Identify strategic opportunities in emerging technologies and translate them into actionable prototypes
• Serve as a technical leader for the AskCR chatbot, making architectural decisions and collaborating on implementation efforts

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with expertise in Python and frontend frameworks
• Experience in building and shipping applied AI products to consumers
• Demonstrated ability to design and build innovative prototypes
• Experience mentoring other engineers
• Deep understanding or curiosity regarding consumer rights and responsible AI
