Job Summary
Seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Research Finance Analyst for a full-time remote role focused on overseeing financial management of sponsored programs, ensuring compliance, and driving process improvements within a complex research portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and review of complex financial reports, reconciliations, and analyses for sponsored programs
- Oversee financial activity management, including coordination of year-end audit documentation and compliance oversight
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts while identifying and leading process improvement initiatives
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in research finance, sponsored programs, or grants administration
- Strong experience with Lawson financial systems and Grants Management modules
- Experience supporting audit preparation and compliance reviews
- Familiarity with federal and state grant regulations and Uniform Guidance
