Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Research Scientist.

Key Responsibilities

• Review past research on wide-band microwave radiometric measurements of ice sheets and sea ice
• Assist in consolidating and refining Cryorad mission objectives related to ice sheet temperature, thickness, and salinity measurements
• Develop case studies to understand measurement sensitivities and support testing inversion methods

Required Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in an appropriate field
• Nationally recognized authority and leader in a relevant scientific area
• Experience as an advisor and consultant on scientific and technological programs
• Recognized for accomplishments through honors and awards from major national organizations
• Ability to attract and inspire other scientists to work under their guidance
