Senior Research Scientist

Job Summary

To support the development of next-generation post-training pipelines, the full-time Senior Research Scientist will engage in core contributions to Nemotron models, focusing on synthetic data and algorithmic research, data infrastructure implementation, and large-scale model post-training challenges, with opportunities for remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to post-training technologies for Nemotron models, including synthetic data and algorithmic research
• Develop training data, benchmarks, and software to advance open-source foundation models
• Address large-scale post-training challenges, managing the full model lifecycle from orchestration to deployment

Required qualifications

• Master's or PhD degree in computer science, machine learning, or related quantitative fields
• 5+ years of experience in model mid-training/post-training, reinforcement learning, and agentic systems
• Hands-on experience in data curation and model training for agentic and reasoning capabilities
• In-depth experience with inference and deployment environments such as vLLM, SGLang, or TRT-LLM
