Senior Research Scientist

Job Summary

To drive advancements in AI and workforce intelligence, the full-time Senior Research Scientist will lead the development of a machine learning-based job analysis engine, collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement AI solutions, and ensure scientific rigor in assessment tools, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the continued development and expansion of the Jobs Engine, ensuring scientifically defensible outputs
• Act as an expert on AI implementation, translating scientific requirements into effective AI-powered systems
• Drive scientific rigor by applying I-O psychology principles to ensure compliance with professional and legal standards

Required qualifications

• Graduate degree in I-O Psychology or a closely related field; doctoral degree preferred
• Demonstrated ML engineering experience with production-grade systems
• Experience applying modern NLP methods to behavioral or labor market data
• Minimum 3 years of applied industry experience; 5+ years preferred
• Familiarity with occupational taxonomies or cognitive ability frameworks is a significant plus
