Senior Research Scientist, AI

Job Summary

To drive the scientific and technical direction of AI-powered insights in workforce intelligence, the full-time Senior Research Scientist, AI will manage the development of the Jobs Engine, ensuring its integrity and scalability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective AI solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the continued development and expansion of the Jobs Engine, ensuring scientifically defensible outputs from labor market data
• Act as an expert on AI implementation, partnering with product managers and engineers to translate scientific requirements into effective AI systems
• Drive scientific rigor by applying I-O psychology principles to ensure compliance with professional and legal standards in AI products

Required qualifications:

• Graduate degree in I-O Psychology, Organizational Psychology, or a related field; doctoral degree preferred
• Demonstrated ML engineering experience with production-grade systems
• Experience applying modern NLP methods to behavioral or labor market data
• Minimum of 3 years of applied industry experience, with 5+ years preferred
• Familiarity with occupational taxonomies and cognitive ability frameworks is a plus
