Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Senior Research Scientist - Neuroscience, this full-time position will drive in vitro pharmacology readouts and neuroscience discovery programs, requiring regular in-lab work at the New Haven, CT headquarters.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement in vitro pharmacology readouts using various biochemical and imaging modalities
- Provide technical leadership in immuno-histochemical endpoints and contribute to a collaborative HCI working group
- Generate timely data to support program decision-making and maintain high standards in data analysis and quality control
Required qualifications
- B.S. / M.S. with 12+ years or Ph.D. with 2-5 years of relevant experience in imaging, cellular and molecular biology, pharmacology, or assay development
- Demonstrated ability to balance speed with rigor in a fast-paced drug discovery environment
- Aptitude for troubleshooting biological assay systems
- Experience in leading or mentoring a small team of scientists
- Neuroscience background with pharma/biotech experience preferred
