Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Research Software Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Modernize and expand the platform for rapid prototyping and validation of evidence models for genetic testing interpretation
- Lead and support the team's software engineering culture, write maintainable code, and enhance computational infrastructure for machine learning
- Keep evidence models up-to-date, retrain with new data, and support deployment for clinical interpretation
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 6 years with a Master's degree, or a PhD with 3 years of experience
- Industry experience in full-stack architecture, distributed systems, and fluency in Python
- Strong ML Ops expertise, hands-on experience with databases and building REST APIs
- Experience in genetics, molecular biology, or bioinformatics is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership experience and a mission-oriented mindset
