Job Summary
Leading research and evaluation efforts in community safety, the full-time Senior Researcher in Community Safety will manage complex projects, collaborate with various stakeholders, and contribute to business development while working remotely within the U.S.
Key responsibilities
- Manage large-scale research projects focused on community safety and violence prevention, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and timely deliverables
- Lead business development efforts, including proposal writing and identifying new opportunities related to community safety initiatives
- Provide technical expertise in research methodologies and mentor staff in research design and analysis
Required qualifications
- PhD in a relevant field with 3+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience
- Deep knowledge of community safety, violence prevention, and implementation science
- Experience in managing research projects, including budgets and timelines
- Proficiency in various data collection methodologies and analytic software such as STATA or R
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with community and systems-based stakeholders
