Senior Researcher in Education Policy

Job Summary

To support project teams focused on K-12 education, the part-time Senior Researcher in Education Policy will lead and manage research projects, design studies, analyze data, and present findings to education leaders while working remotely across U.S. time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of applied research projects and support project leadership
• Write reports and presentations that interpret evidence for practitioners and policymakers
• Engage with stakeholders through meetings and dissemination activities while managing project timelines and deliverables

Required qualifications

• PhD in a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience designing and leading applied research studies for education agencies
• Experience in contract research, evaluation, or consulting environments
• Expertise in PreK-12 topics such as school improvement or accountability
• Experience conducting field-based data collection using various methodologies
