Senior Researcher, Mixed Methods

Job Summary

To support rigorous applied research efforts, the full-time Senior Researcher, Mixed Methods will design and lead studies to understand attitudes and behaviors related to decarbonization, utilizing experimental and mixed-methods approaches in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead original research from question development through study design, data collection, and analysis
• Design and analyze randomized controlled trials and quasi-experimental studies to measure program effects
• Integrate quantitative and qualitative methods to assess intervention effectiveness and underlying factors

Required Qualifications

• A PhD in a relevant social science field or equivalent advanced research training and experience
• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research, including study design and evidence evaluation
• Strong experience with applied social or behavioral research methodologies
• Proficiency in statistical and research software such as R, Python, or similar tools
• Three or more years of research experience following completion of a doctoral degree is preferred
