Job Summary
Providing comprehensive federal retirement and benefits counseling, the full-time Senior Retirement Benefits Specialist will assist employees with retirement eligibility, options, and related benefits while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver federal retirement and benefits counseling, including eligibility determinations and application processing
- Prepare and review retirement estimates and applications to ensure compliance with regulations
- Serve as a liaison between employees and external agencies to resolve benefits-related issues
Required qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in employee benefit practices and federal regulations
- Proven ability to analyze and reconcile discrepancies in benefits and retirement service
- Experience providing retirement estimates for federal employees under FERS and CSRS systems
- Demonstrated expertise in delivering personalized retirement counseling
- Familiarity with the full range of employee benefit programs, including health insurance and leave policies
