Job Summary

Providing comprehensive federal retirement and benefits counseling, the full-time Senior Retirement Benefits Specialist will assist employees with retirement eligibility, options, and related benefits while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver federal retirement and benefits counseling, including eligibility determinations and application processing
• Prepare and review retirement estimates and applications to ensure compliance with regulations
• Serve as a liaison between employees and external agencies to resolve benefits-related issues

Required qualifications:

• 7 years of experience in employee benefit practices and federal regulations
• Proven ability to analyze and reconcile discrepancies in benefits and retirement service
• Experience providing retirement estimates for federal employees under FERS and CSRS systems
• Demonstrated expertise in delivering personalized retirement counseling
• Familiarity with the full range of employee benefit programs, including health insurance and leave policies
