Senior Retirement Plan Specialist

Job Summary

Senior Retirement Plan Specialist is a full-time salaried position responsible for consulting with clients on plan design, preparing legal plan documents, and providing mentorship to team members while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and maintain Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution plan documents, restatements, and amendments
• Coordinate with legal counsel and clients to finalize document language and lead annual notices distribution
• Prepare IRS filings and conduct plan-year-end non-discrimination testing

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
• Law School education is preferred
• Five (5) or more years of related work experience is required
• Experience with small to large size clients and Mergers & Acquisitions is required
• Professional designation from ASPPA, NIPA, etc., or progress toward designation is preferred
