Senior Revenue Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant to manage and execute the revenue recognition process for clinical research contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end revenue recognition process for clinical research projects, including contract review and reconciliation
• Ensure compliance with ASC 606 and monitor study progress to confirm revenue triggers
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and support the development of revenue recognition policies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in revenue recognition or project accounting
• Prior experience in a Contract Research Organization or project-based services environment preferred
• Deep understanding of ASC 606 and multi-element arrangements
• Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems
