Senior Revenue Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Revenue Accountant to oversee its revenue systems and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the accounting owner for Zuora Billing and RevPro, ensuring accurate and GAAP-compliant revenue recognition
• Manage month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Provide technical accounting guidance for new product launches and build scalable, SOX-compliant workflows

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and in-house roles focused on systems and revenue recognition
• Hands-on experience with Zuora Billing and/or Zuora RevPro
• Deep understanding of US GAAP, especially ASC 606
• Demonstrated ownership of revenue close processes and audit preparation
• CPA or equivalent required
