Senior Revenue Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage complex revenue accounting matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and document revenue accounting treatment for customer contracts in accordance with ASC 606
• Support the implementation of new customer contracts and modifications within revenue systems
• Contribute to the monthly revenue close by preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, and investigating discrepancies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a Finance/Accounting related function
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes, with exposure to ASC 606
• Proven ability to prioritize work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex functions
• 5+ years in public accounting or experience at a fast-growing company (desired)
