Senior Revenue Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant to manage complex accounting tasks and support financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for various accounting areas, including commission accruals and revenue contract reviews
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts in accordance with GAAP and prepare documentation for audits
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support business initiatives and implement efficient accounting systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA track preferred
• 4-7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in public accounting and private industry
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, particularly revenue accounting (ASC 606) and contract cost accounting (ASC 340)
• Experience in a high-growth or fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with accounting systems such as NetSuite or similar ERP platforms
