Senior Revenue Accountant

Job Summary

To support financial operations, the full-time Senior Revenue Accountant will oversee revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606, manage monthly close processes, and collaborate cross-functionally to provide revenue insights, all while working in a remote or hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment under ASC 606
• Own key components of the monthly and quarterly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide revenue insights and support deal structuring decisions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in Revenue Accounting at a high-growth technology company
• Strong technical knowledge of ASC 606 for Software and SaaS, including usage-based commit contracts
• Proficient in Revenue Systems such as Workday Financials, NetSuite ARM, or Zuora Revenue
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
