Senior Revenue Accountant

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and technically strong, the full-time Senior Revenue Accountant will manage end-to-end revenue accounting and reporting for licensed software, SaaS subscriptions, and support services while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain revenue recognition policies in accordance with ASC 606 across all revenue streams
• Prepare and review monthly revenue journal entries and account reconciliations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer accounting questions and billing disputes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with exposure to revenue recognition in a technology or software company
• Deep working knowledge of ASC 606 and contract cost accounting (ASC 340-40)
• Hands-on experience with revenue accounting across SaaS and subscription models
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in a major ERP system (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
