Senior Revenue Accountant

Job Summary

Supporting accurate financial reporting and scalable revenue operations, the full-time Senior Revenue Accountant will manage revenue accounting functions, including compliance with US GAAP and ASC 606, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely recording of revenue transactions and perform monthly close tasks for revenue-related activities
• Prepare monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis to ensure complete revenue recognition
• Collaborate with finance, sales, and operations teams to provide guidance on complex revenue transactions and improve forecasting accuracy

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• 4-7 years of progressive experience in revenue accounting or related roles
• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and revenue recognition principles, particularly ASC 606
• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making
