Senior Revenue Accountant

Job Summary

Managing complex accounting functions, the full-time Senior Revenue Accountant will perform detailed reconciliations, develop financial reports, and support revenue recognition processes in a fully remote role, with some tasks requiring presence in Houston, TX.

Key responsibilities

• Perform complex and detailed reconciliations, closure processes, and critical analyses
• Manage revenue reconciliation processes across billing systems, CRM, and ERP to ensure accuracy of recorded revenue
• Prepare and post journal entries related to revenue, accounts receivable, and deferred revenue as part of the monthly close process

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Three or more years of experience in accounting
• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and systems
• Experience with billing and collections, as well as SaaS sales models
• Proficiency in using word processing, spreadsheet, email, and database software
